ghost recipe™
somewhere in your memory, there’s a dish that doesn’t exist anywhere anymore.
Maybe it was the way she seasoned it. The particular order things went into the pot. Something they never wrote down because they didn’t need to because they just knew.
You know it too. Not in a way you can easily explain, but in your body. In the way certain smells still stop you.
Ghost Recipe™ is how we bring it back.
You tell the story to bring the dish back to life.
This isn’t a recipe request. It’s a reconstruction.
You fill out a detailed intake form, not a questionnaire, a conversation. You tell us who this dish belonged to, what it tasted like, what it smelled like, the occasion it showed up for, and what it meant to you. Fragments are fine, partial memories are completely fine. That's what we’re here to piece together.
Using your sensory memories, any culinary clues you can offer, and our own deep knowledge of technique, ingredients, and food history, we reconstruct the dish. Not a guess, a careful, intentional interpretation built from everything you share.
What you receive is a complete recipe with notes explaining every choice we made and why. Yours to keep, to cook, to share, and to pass down.
